This pool is only a few years old so the facilities are to a very high standard.
Merstone School is a special needs school, so the pool is slightly warmer in temperature than that of some mainstream pools. This means it is ideally suited for beginner swimmers of any age, Pregnancy Water Yoga (Aqua Mums), and young children.

The pool measures 8m long and has a depth of 1m with a gradual incline to 1.3m at the deep end.
Seating is provided within the pool area as are changing areas and shower facilities.
There is ample parking within their car park (Merstone School has a large shared car park with Smith’s Wood Sports College, and Forest Oak School).
